This course develops moderate proficiency in oil painting through focused still-life study. Students will move through a series of guided exercises while learning essential painting concepts and techniques that establish a strong foundation for creating original, expressive work. More advanced ideas and methods will also be introduced and explored to deepen understanding and broaden technical range.
Some previous drawing or painting experience is recommended to fully benefit from the course.
Greg Mannheimer was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL and is a proud Lakeland resident. Greg is an award winning artist who has taught at various institutions of visual art for over the last decade and was previously an oil painting specialist for Utrecht. He also has a great interest and experience in the interior design world, which is highlighted through the wealth of knowledge casually dropped throughout his classes.

Any registrations submitted after the registration deadline includes a $35 late fee.
REFUNDS
All refund requests must be submitted in writing and will incur a $35 handling fee. If a class or workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be available. If a class or workshop is not cancelled and refund is requested, a reimbursement will be made in full up to seven days prior to the class or workshop starting date. No reimbursement will be made after the seven-day period.
