Art Resource Trust (ART), the Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art collectors' group, is a way for interested patrons to support the curation and maintenance of the Museum’s permanent collection. Donations received via this campaign allow The AGB to both grow it's collection (by acquiring new works) and to support the Museum’s conservation efforts of the existing collection.
Donations are received for either the Acquisition Fund or the Conservators’ Circle - with funds either purchasing new works (Acquisition Fund) or helping to preserve the Museum’s collection (Conservators’ Circle). Whichever the focus of the donor’s gift, all become members of the Art Resource Trust.
Through their membership, ART members have made significant contributions to our permanent collection. Examples include works by Andy Warhol, Barbara Morgan, Damien Hirst, Hung Liu, and Robert Rauschenberg.
Donors at the $1000 level and above receive special invitations to Museum events - ones that are specifically connected to collecting and conservation.
