The public is invited to celebrate and recognize the talents of our Summer Art Camp students with us virtually! Summer Art Camp 2025 features the work of students ages 8 through 14. We honor the exceptional students for their hard work and achievement while also thanking their art teachers and volunteers for their commitment and critical role in providing a nurturing environment during Summer Art Camp.

Scholastic Art & Writing Awards 2025
The Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art is thrilled to host the nationally-renowned 102nd Annual Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for the Polk County, Florida Art Region. Presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, the Scholastic Awards initiative invited students grades 7-12 (ages 13 and up) to submit their original works produced across all media to have a chance to have their work recognized in the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious scholarship and recognition program.
This exhibition features visual art students who placed with Honorable Mentions, Silver Keys, and Gold Keys within the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
