Get a taste of the world of fused glass that you can wear! This beautiful and engaging medium offers students the ability to express oneself through pieces of art that can be worn. This workshop will cover cutting, assembly, and several techniques to create unique wearable pieces of your own design.

PLEASE NOTE: Some materials may include fine powders or produce nuisance dust that can cause eye, skin, or respiratory irritation. Goggles and N95 masks will be provided and required to be worn for those elements. Students must be 18 years old and up to enroll.


Nancy Puri is an artist, instructor, and leader with over 30 years of experience in supporting visual arts programming in Florida as an administrator and over 25 years as a teacher, including Florida Southern College, Adjunct Professor in Sculpture. Nancy is a graduate of The University of Florida with a BFA in Drawing and Painting and holds a Master of Educational Leadership. She currently serves as the Senior Coordinator of Visual Arts for Polk County Schools in Lakeland, Florida. She is dedicated to the growth and development of both teachers and students in the visual arts, as well as a supporter of the arts on a state and national level.


REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Sunday, January 18, 2026

Any registrations submitted after the registration deadline includes a $35 late fee.

REFUNDS

All refund requests must be submitted in writing and will incur a $35 handling fee. If a class or workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be available. If a class or workshop is not cancelled and refund is requested, a reimbursement will be made in full up to seven days prior to the class or workshop starting date. No reimbursement will be made after the seven-day period.
