Get a taste of the world of fused glass! Glass presents endless possibilities to express yourself and create beautiful pieces of art! Begin your fusing experience with the basics of creating your own ornaments. This workshop will cover cutting, assembly, and several techniques to create fun, original, ornament designs of your own.
(PLEASE NOTE: Some materials may produce nuisance dust that can cause eye, skin, or respiratory irritation. Goggles and N95 masks will be provided.)
Nancy Puri is an artist, instructor, and leader with over 30 years of experience in supporting visual arts programming in Florida as an administrator and over 25 years as a teacher, including Florida Southern College, Adjunct Professor in Sculpture. Nancy is a graduate of The University of Florida with a BFA in Drawing and Painting and holds a Master of Educational Leadership. She currently serves as the Senior Coordinator of Visual Arts for Polk County Schools in Lakeland, Florida. She is dedicated to the growth and development of both teachers and students in the visual arts, as well as a supporter of the arts on a state and national level.

Any registrations submitted after the registration deadline includes a $35 late fee.
REFUNDS
All refund requests must be submitted in writing and will incur a $35 handling fee. If a class or workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be available. If a class or workshop is not cancelled and refund is requested, a reimbursement will be made in full up to seven days prior to the class or workshop starting date. No reimbursement will be made after the seven-day period.
