All You Need to Know about Abstract Art with Susanne Schuenke

Lab starts at 10:30am
Free for Members, $5 per Non-Member

Pre-registration is required.

Join artist, Susanne Schuenke, as she leads students through the world of abstract art, teaching that there is no need to fear abstraction.

Susanne will cover the journey from naturalism to abstraction, examining it through four key perspectives: abstraction as a process of stylization, as a form of symbolism, as an element of composition, and as a means of expression. Through examples and discussion, students will gain a deeper understanding of these concepts. Practical exercises, primarily drawing but potentially including color work such as watercolors, will allow students to apply what they learn in a hands-on way.
