Whether you’re interested in writing short stories, a memoir, or a novel, this fun and engaging creative writing (fiction) class is for you. Learn how to create entertaining characters, inviting settings, realistic dialogue, and exciting plots through expert instruction and in-class writing exercises. Appropriate for all experience levels.
Students only need to bring a notebook and their favorite writing tool.
Dr. Kathleen Nicklaus is an award-winning writer, poet, and professor with three decades of experience teaching literature and creative writing. Her work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, journals, and anthologies. She believes that learning should be challenging, fun, and meaningful.

Any registrations submitted after the registration deadline includes a $35 late fee.
REFUNDS
All refund requests must be submitted in writing and will incur a $35 handling fee. If a class or workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be available. If a class or workshop is not cancelled and refund is requested, a reimbursement will be made in full up to seven days prior to the class or workshop starting date. No reimbursement will be made after the seven-day period.
