Materials and Techniques in Oil Painting (Evening)

This course is designed to explore the basic materials and techniques of oil painting. The instructor will guide students through the use of mediums, substrates, brushes, palette knives, brushwork, and color to illustrate how artists have worked to produce oil paintings from the Renaissance era to present day.


Greg Mannheimer was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL and is a proud Lakeland resident. Greg is an award winning artist who has taught at various institutions of visual art for over the last decade and was previously an oil painting specialist for Utrecht. He also has a great interest and experience in the interior design world, which is highlighted through the wealth of knowledge casually dropped throughout his classes.


REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Sunday, September 14, 2025

Any registrations submitted after the registration deadline includes a $35 late fee.

REFUNDS

All refund requests must be submitted in writing and will incur a $35 handling fee. If a class or workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be available. If a class or workshop is not cancelled and refund is requested, a reimbursement will be made in full up to seven days prior to the class or workshop starting date. No reimbursement will be made after the seven-day period.
