Fee: $185 Members, $235 Non-Members

Designed for amateur and intermediate artists alike, this class explores the fundamentals and advanced techniques of figure drawing through direct observation of a live nude model. Students will study anatomy, proportion, composition, and geometric analysis while developing their observational drawing skills.

Special emphasis will be placed on the instructor’s specialty, the Aux Trois/Quatre Crayons technique, alongside the use of a variety of traditional drawing materials. Intermediate students may also choose to work in oil painting as they build toward greater competency in portraiture and academic painting practices. This course serves as both a strong foundation for painting and an opportunity for developing artists to refine their technical skills.

Supply List

Greg Mannheimer was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL and is a proud Lakeland resident. Greg is an award winning artist who has taught at various institutions of visual art for over the last decade and was previously an oil painting specialist for Utrecht. He also has a great interest and experience in the interior design world, which is highlighted through the wealth of knowledge casually dropped throughout his classes.

Any registrations submitted after the registration deadline includes a $35 late fee.

REFUNDS

All refund requests must be submitted in writing and will incur a $35 handling fee. If a class or workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be available. If a class or workshop is not cancelled and refund is requested, a reimbursement will be made in full up to seven days prior to the class or workshop starting date. No reimbursement will be made after the seven-day period.
