/Tuesdays (six-weeks) | Noon to 3pm
Dates: Jan 27 | Feb 3 | Feb 10 | Feb 17 | Feb 24 | Mar 3
Skill Level: Beginning
Instructor: Greg Mannheimer, Professional Fine Arts Painter
Fee: $165 Members, $225 Non-Members
This course helps students develop the skills needed to perceive and convincingly portray depth in landscapes, figure drawing, and still-life setups. Through guided lectures and hands-on exercises, students will learn practical concepts and strategies they can apply across many artistic disciplines.
While previous experience in a basic drawing course (such as the instructor’s Drawing Foundations) is recommended, it isn’t required. Both beginning and intermediate artists will strengthen their ability to depict perspective accurately and gain the technical vocabulary needed to discuss these ideas confidently with other artists.
Greg Mannheimer was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL and is a proud Lakeland resident. Greg is an award winning artist who has taught at various institutions of visual art for over the last decade and was previously an oil painting specialist for Utrecht. He also has a great interest and experience in the interior design world, which is highlighted through the wealth of knowledge casually dropped throughout his classes.
